Bio

Colin is building a general litigation practice, including commercial disputes, real estate disputes, fraud, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, and shareholder disputes.

Colin places great emphasis on finding practical solutions to his clients’ problems, with a particular focus on delivering expedient and cost-effective results. Colin is experienced in assisting clients with navigating complex commercial disputes. He has been involved in both bringing and opposing injunctions in the contexts of commercial tenancies, the sale of a business, and contractual non-competes. He has successfully brought motions for orders to rectify title and for vesting orders in respect of residential properties. Colin has recently utilized his experience to obtain a complete dismissal of defamation claims brought against one of Canada’s largest public entertainment companies. 

Colin has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, both individually and while working closely with senior counsel, as well as the Ontario Small Claims Court.

Outside of work, Colin enjoys skiing and ice hockey, and is a fan of the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs.
