Bio

Julie Kagan joined Robins Appleby in 2018, after working for 16 years in the fields of Estate Planning and Estate Administration

She works closely with the Wills and Estates group, demonstrating her passion for accuracy, rapport with clients, and legal software expertise.

Julie enjoys meeting with clients, discussing their estate planning needs and concerns, drafting their wills and powers of attorney, and attending to the execution of their documents. She also takes pride in her ability to assist executors and trustees in administering estates, whether large or small, testate or intestate. Among other services she provides, Julie helps executors and trustees navigate their duties and fulfill their responsibilities by liaising with courts, financial institutions, accountants, life insurance companies, and share transfer agents. Utilizing her extensive experience, Julie determines estate assets, prepares and files probate applications, processes documentation to realize estate assets, coordinates distributions to estate beneficiaries and prepares estate accounts.

She is an avid reader and tennis enthusiast who enjoys spending time with friends and family.
